LIQUOR REGULATIONS

Effective from 1st September 2012 Gloucester Park is prescribed as a ‘Sports Arena’ under the Liquor Control Regulations 1989, for the purposes of section 110 of the Liquor Control Act 1988. This will mean that any person who:

  • Brings liquor into the arena;
  • Attempts to bring liquor into the arena;
  • Has liquor in his or her possession in the arena;
  • Consumes liquor in the arena

will commit an offence, if the liquor was not purchased from the arena’s licensed premises.

The maximum penalty for this offence is a fine of $2,000.
