Jingle Jolt a Late Xmas Present

Jingle Jolt appears well placed to return to the winners' list in the second event at Gloucester Park on New Year's Eve.

In her short career to date, she has impressed by winning four of her 11 runs.

Importantly, all four of her wins have come when she has been able to lead - a luxury she looks likely to get tonight after drawing the coveted pole.

The four-year-old daughter of Village Jolt is blessed with exceptional gate speed and trainer/driver Aldo Cortopassi should be able to hold her rivals at bay into the first turn.

Jingle Jolt drops back to mares grade having contested open events at her previous three starts.

She was outsprinted in her most recent outing at Pinjarra behind the talented Mistahmistah.

However, the last time Jingle Jolt raced exclusively against her own sex she was grabbed in the shadows of the post by Innocent Affair.

She certainly looks hard to beat with her biggest danger being Rock N Roll Delight.

The Rock N Roll Heaven six-year-old has impressed since arriving from the Victorian stables of Andy Gath.

Rock N Roll Delight battled away soundly when second after breezing behind Mileys Desire two starts ago at the same track and distance.

She then worked home out wide last time in a slickly run race at Northam and has winning prospects.
