Nominations for Committee.
In accordance with the Western Australian Trotting Association Act 1946, nominations are called to fill two vacancies on the Committee.
Lisa Hando, John Jones and Garry Scott retire at the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday the 28th of October 2026. Under the provisions of the By-Laws, and in the event that an election is necessary, the two candidates who receive the highest number of votes shall hold office for a three-year term.
Nomination forms from the Chief Executive Officer of Gloucester Park Harness Racing (GPHR) will be available on the 14th of September 2026, via email info@gloucesterpark.com.au or from the GPHR Administration Office Reception, 3 Nelson Cres, East Perth.
Nominations for the WATA Committee are to be lodged with the GPHR Chief Executive Officer via email info@gloucesterpark.com.au or at the GPHR Administration Office in East Perth and will be accepted from 8.30 am on the 14th of September 2026, closing at 4.00 pm on the 28th of September 2026.
If more than 2 nominations are received, a ballot for the order of the positions on the ballot form will be held at 12.00 noon on Tuesday the 29th of September 2026. Voting information will be circulated to WATA Members at least three weeks prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting, which is the 28th of October 2026. Voting will close at 9.00 am on Wednesday the 28th of October 2026.
