Minimum dress standards apply for patrons attending Gloucester Park race meetings.

 

General Public Dress Standards

  • The minimum dress standard for members of the general public attending Gloucester Park is clean and neat casual dress
  • Footwear is mandatory at all times
  • Members of the general public may be refused entry to Gloucester Park by Club Officials if it is felt that these standards are not being adhered to
  • Club Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in respect to dress code

 

Members Area Dress Standards

  • Gloucester Park’s Dress Code will be strictly enforced within the Members area
  • Membership and Guest Badges must be worn in the Members area
  • Smart casual is the designated dress standard for both adults and children attending the Members Room
  • Any person wearing t-shirts, ripped jeans, shorts, thongs or joggers will not be permitted entry to the Members area
  • The Beau Don is a designated restaurant therefore appropriate footwear must be worn
  • Members and their guest/s may be refused entry to the Members area by Club Officials if it is felt that these standards are not being adhered to
  • Club Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in respect to the dress code

 

Children in the Members Areas

Children are permitted in the Beau Don Members’ area subject to the following:

  • Members children under the age of 16 and accompanied by an adult are provided with free admission to the Members area except during major race nights, at which time children’s entry to the Beau Don is precluded. Eg; Fremantle Pacing Cup, WA Pacing Cup and all Fireworks race nights;
  • Members children aged 16 and 17 years may apply to obtain a Junior Membership badge at a cost of $25 per annum and for this fee will receive adult seating privileges in the members area for race meetings
  • Children must be dressed in a smart casual manner at all times. No thongs are permitted and footwear must be worn at all times

 

Caduceus Club Dress Standards

  • Gentlemen are required to wear a collared shirt (polo shirts are not permitted) with tailored trousers. No tie is required. A suit coat, sports coat or blazer is mandatory during the cooler months, and optional during summer
  • Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard of dress in keeping with the distinction of the Caduceus Club room
  • Strictly no denim, thongs or joggers
  • Note: Members and their guest/s may be refused entry to the Caduceus Club by Club Officials if it is felt that these standards are not being adhered to
  • The Caduceus Club Executive reserves the right to exercise discretion in respect to dress code

 

Owners Dress Standards

Dress standards apply for all connections accepting or participating in a trophy presentation at Gloucester Park. The minimum dress standard for owners participating in a trophy presentation are:

  • Gentlemen: tailored trousers, collared shirt, enclosed shoes
  • Ladies: a suitable standard of dress in keeping with the distinction associated with a trophy presentation event
  • The following apparel is deemed inappropriate:
    • Denim
    • Shorts
    • T-shirts
    • Singlets
    • Caps & Sunglasses
    • Thongs
  • Winning owners thought to be inappropriately dressed will be asked by Club Officials to nominate a person to participate in the trophy presentation
