Smart six-year-old Prince Of Pleasure repeated the dose at Gloucester Park on Friday night when he set the pace and won from stablemate Finvarra in the 1730m Bridge Bar Pace — seven nights after he led and beat Finvarra over 2130m.

Prince Of Pleasure, the $1.10 favourite from the No. 1 barrier, completed a treble for Gary Hall Jnr, who had been successful earlier in the night with Mister Smartee and Watching Our Coin.

Prince Of Pleasure led easily after Finvarra, from the No. 2 barrier, broke and lost about three lengths at the start. However, Stuart McDonald was able to quickly get Finvarra back into his gear and was able to take the sit behind the pacemaker.

After a 28sec. third quarter, Prince Of Pleasure dashed over the final 400m in 27.4sec., and Finvarra did well to run home solidly to finish only a neck behind his stablemate.

The New Zealand-bred Prince Of Pleasure, a son of Bettors Delight and trained by Gary Hall Snr, has now earned $130,599 from twelve wins and four seconds from 27 starts.
